it is possible that a preacher is teaching truth, but it’s not truth because he is teaching it, but because the bible validates it. The apostle John plainly tells us not to trust the preacher: but to try every spirit. In I Jno. 4:1, Paul said, “Prove all things and hold firm that which is good. I Th. 5 :21 No matter how honest, or how good a preacher is, he is still fallible. We all are! Jeremiah said a man can’t direct his own steps. Jer. 10:23
Challenging a preacher’s words is not proving them wrong, but rather for the purpose of all being right with God’s Word. Paul did not feel insulted for people to “challenge” his teaching. Instead, they were commended because they wanted to make sure that what he said could be substantiated by God’s word. Acts 17:11
Salvation is 100% by grace/Christ’s work on our behalf and 0% by works/man’s work(Rm 4:5, Eph 2:8-9)! We just have to receive this gift of salvation by faith. If doing good didn’t save you, doing bad doesn’t unsave you. For you to lose Salvation, Jesus must come to undo his grace by dying again, which will never happen!
That is how grace disrespected religion and gave all respect to Jesus. Glory to Jesus!
To think you can loose salvation it simply means you don’t know how you got to Christ….and that might mean you don’t even believe in Christ.
If you think you came to Christ on your own then you have a reason to believe you can lose salvation because the way you came that’s the way you will go back.
A true believe never brought him/her self to Christ but God did. So if God brought you to Christ then Christ promised not to loose any of those the Father brought to him.
Everyone the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will certainly not turn away. For I have come down from heaven to do not my own will but the will of the One who sent me. And this is the will of the One who sent me: that I should not lose any of all those he has given me but should raise them up on the Last Day. Yochanan (Jhn) 6:37-39 CJB
Extra Scriptures of assurance: Ephesians 2:8-9 John 17:24 John 10:28-30 Romans 8:32
Luke 23:45 “And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst.” LUKE 23:45
The veil spoken of here reached from the ceiling to the floor, from wall to wall, and separated the Holy of Holies from the holy place in the temple. Solomon’s temple was 30 cubits high (1 Ki. 6:2), but Herod increased the height to 40 cubits according to the writings of Josephus, a first century historian. Therefore, depending on what standard you use to convert cubits to feet (there is uncertainty as to exactly what a cubit equaled in our feet and inches), this veil was somewhere between 60 feet and 90 feet high.
It is significant that this veil was rent from top to bottom (Mt. 27:51; Mk. 15:38). No man could have torn the veil in this fashion. It was definitely God that rent the veil. The time when this veil was rent corresponds exactly with the moment Jesus died. Hebrews 9:1-9 tells us that the veil separated the Holy of Holies, where God dwelt, from the rest of the temple, where men dwelt. This signified that man was separated from God by sin (Isa. 59:1-2). Only the high priest was permitted to pass beyond this veil, and only once each year (Ex. 30:10; Heb. 9:7). This symbolized the Christ who would enter into God’s presence for us and make an atonement.
The moment that Christ died, the veil was torn in two, revealing that the sacrifice had been made and that there is no longer any separation between God and man. Jesus tore the veil, that is to say His flesh (Heb. 10:20), in two and opened up a new way unto God through Himself.
Question: “How is the church supposed to keep its doors open if people don’t tithe?”
Answer: It amazes me how so many can’t figure out the simple fact that the church can run on voluntary, freewill, contributions.
Do the math folks…
If you give 10% as a voluntary, freewill contribution you will be giving the same amount you would have given if you were yielding to the monetary tithe requirement lie…
…only the voluntary, freewill contribtion is out of love instead of because of being lied to. The church would be getting no less from you.
Instead of yielding to the monetary tithe requirement lie and giving an extra offering of, say…7%, why can’t you give 17% as a voluntary, freewill contribution instead?
Why fight to keep the doors open to the church through money garnered by lies, when you can keep the doors open through money garnered out of love? A church built on lies is not in God’s will. God’s church is founded and operates on truth, not lies.
So if the bible says Jesus is God, would that be enough to prove to you that you are mistaken, or would you continue using your same name trick to claim that the bible doesn’t mean what it says?
Isaiah 9:6For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Titus 2:13we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ,
Isaiah 43:10Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me. 11 I, even I, am the Lord, and apart from me there is no savior. (Jesus can’t be a different savior)
Hebrews 1:8But about the Son he says, “Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom. 9You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy.”
Colossians 1:15The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. 17He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. 19For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, 20and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.
2:9 For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body.
John 1:1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
SHOULD WE PRAY OR DESIRE TO PHYSICALLY KILL WITCHES AND WIZARDS?
SHOULD WE PRAY OR DESIRE TO PHYSICALLY KILL WITCHES AND WIZARDS? Witches or wizards are people who use magical/spiritual powers to do evil towards another person. They can cause illness, stagnation, or even death.Witchcraft is real, there are people out there who practice it.It is of the devil . It’s the devil mimicking God’s power and ability to control life.*God is against witchcraft, those who do it will not inherit the kingdom of God.
*Under the mosaic law the penalty for practicing Witchcraft was death Exo 22:18, Leviticus 20:27)There are different shades of whichcraft ( sorcery, divination, Deuteronomy 18:9-12)
*What should be a Christian’s attitude towards withcraft?*
* DO not fear it. Mathew 10:38.* Do not practice it Rev 22:15*Treat it like any other sin ( avoid it , flee from it). James 4:7.*Do not be too engulfed in it . Rather be engulfed with God’s word. It’s easy to be superstitious if you concentrate on this area. Philippians 4:8.
*Can a Christian be bewitched?** Yes /No depends with one’s level of maturity in the Lord. If you are relaxed and weak, you are vulnerable the enemy can attack you in various ways. * If you are full of the word, prayerful and vigilant, you are untouchable . The enemy can not access you . Psalms 23. Psalms 91.
*What must a Christian do to a witch or withcraft:** under the new testament, we do not have a mandate of killing or hunting witches.* You just pray against the spirit and influence of such .* You can’t put yourself in the shoes of God and begin to judge and condemn to death.* You can’t teach and pray for someone’s death. You can only pray & claim your protection. Learn to walk in your God given authority and power .Jn 1:11-12*You can’t be a self proclaimed witch Hunter. Rather seek God not seeking witches. Isaiah 55:6.If you do the above , you will have no need to worry or think about witches & wizards.
*YOU CAN’T PRAY FOR ONES DEATH:*
Understand the difference time under the law and the time under Grace … there was a big change on how things are approached Read *Mathew chapter 5** it’s not scriptural ( Jesus teaches forgiveness). Mathew 5:44.* You are not the owner of life. Revenge is God’s Romans 12:19.* Rather pray for salvation of the lost souls. Luke 5:32.* Even Satanist are living for many years on earth . God Himself is not striking them with lightning in the street. * You just pray fighting against spiritual attacks etc.. if God decides to answer by death , then it’s ok he is God. Not you begging God to kill.
*Dangers of adopting the witches must die attitude:*
1. You Focus on the enemy not God.
2 . You automatically become a witch Hunter.
3.You begin to be suspicious and superstitious ( fearing black cats, owls etc)
4. You begin to hate ( this is not how we fight in Christ). 2 Corinth 10:4-6
5.You begin to accuse relatives and spoil relations ( better fight it spiritually not physically).
6.You can not rejoice over one’s death. It’s ungodly and unscriptural. Luke 23:34.
7. The moment you start thinking that death brings you solutions you will not end by killing witches only; you will desire to kill anyone else who crosses your path.
8. In other countries Its a crime to accuse someone of witchcraft only if u have the evidence.
9. It’s easy for you to be charged of hate speech, since u will be praying for someone’s death.
10.The devil will have a field day. He will show you people in visions and dreams( witches), you will fight, there will be a lot of drama and chaos in the church and world.
11. I strongly feel the devil can easily Hijack people who are full of anger and hatred. You may be saying in the name of Jesus, yet Satan has even hijacked you. ( The fact that u pray and u hear reports of death does not mean it’s God) kikiki U say God is using me mightly, I have a gift of killing 🙄🙄🤔🤔. *Surely if you cross a child or men of God you may die , but we leave that in God’s hands, it’s not me who must wish death upon people.*
*Conclusion:** We have power over witches. We are covered by the blood of Christ. Rom 8:37-39.* Better be Christ conscious than devil conscious.*Believe the word of God.* Our enemy is the devil not another human being . If you fight the devil that human being who is being used will repent. Even if they don’t repent still we are untouchable. We are safe in Christ . Ephesians 6:12.
